Athens Convention Bureau receives award by HAPCO

ATEDCo CEO Panagiotis Arkoumaneas received an award for his contribution to the development of conference tourism in Greece through the creation of the Athens Convention Bureau. The award was part of HAPCO's 5th Panhellenic Conference and Workshops for Conference and Business Tourism held 6 and 7 March.

Arkoumaneas thanked HAPCO for the award and referred to the efforts of ACB which aim at promoting Athens as a conference destination. He expressed optimism with regard to the development of conference tourism and stressed that with cooperation and initiative, the goals that have been set for Greek conference tourism can be achieved.
