Presentation on: "Tourism and Women – Hospitality with a Scent of Woman"

In an effort to highlight the contribution of women in the development of the tourism sector, the Athens Tourism and Economic Development Company, in collaboration with Women in Tourism-Greece are staging a presentation on the topic "Tourism and Women - Hospitality with a Scent of Woman" on 31 May at the Antonis Tritsis Hall of the City of Athens Cultural Centre from 18:00 to 21:00.

The presentation will focus on the role of women in tourism with the aim of highlighting the importance of women's business activity in the tourism sector as part of the economic development of Athens.

Among those who will present their positions and expertise will be: Dr Katerina Katsabe, Athens City Council Member and ATEDCo president; Irini Matzavelaki-Vasilopoulou, president of Women in Tourism-Greece; Georgios Tsakiris, president of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels; Angeliki Michailidou, president of the Women's Association of Managers and Entrepreneurs (IAGME); Dr Dimitris Bouradas, professor of Management and Human Resources, director of Executive MBA, co-director of the MSc programme in Human Resources Management at the Athens University of Economics and Business; and Dr Periklis Lytras, professor and president of the Tourist Enterprises Department at the Athens Technological Educational Institute.

The event will be coordinated by distinguished journalist Nina Vlachou.
