In its effort to support the Greek retail trade, which constitutes a significant sector in the prosperity and revenue production of Greece, the Athens Tourism and Economic Development Co. (ATEDCo) was one of the sponsors of the Retail Business Awards 2008, which took place 24 November at the Glyfada Golf Club. The main objective of the Retail Business Awards, held for the seventh consecutive year, is to promote and reward the efforts of the most successful Greek businesses in the area of retail sales, thereby bolstering their competitiveness and efforts in innovation.
