The activities and Membership Programme of the Athens Convention Bureau (ACB), the City of Athens' official organisation for conference tourism, were officially announced today during a news conference at the Numismatic Museum in the presence of Athens Mayor Nikitas Kaklamanis.

The City of Athens Convention Bureau's (ACB) participation in the EIBTM 2009 international conference tourism conference, which took place 1-3 December in Barcelona, Spain, was declared a crowning success.

The 43rd International Children's Games opening ceremony was successfully held yesterday. More than 7,000 people of all ages filled the Panathenian Stadium in order to view the Games opening ceremony, fully supporting a unique sporting and cultural event organized by the City of Athens.
